Last night at Small group we discussed and Dissected John 8:48-58 for about an hour or so. My favorite part was verse 8:58
58“”I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.”
The verse never says how he hid and escaped from these people who wanted to stone him and eventually kill him. Because it doesn’t mention how he escaped and being a group of sophomore guys our first idea was if Jesus was a Ninja or if he was really good at Hide and Go Seek……just something fun to think about.
