Being Comfortable when its Un Comfortable

One thing that has stuck with me since my churches leadership retreat this past winter, was that you have to “be Comfortable being Un Comfortable.” This was in regards to talking about how to welcome first time visitors to church, along with reaching out to kids at school. I love the saying because talking to people who it is there first time to church is awkward and at times un comfortable. They are nervous and un-comfortable. The hardest part is making them feel comfortable and like the have been going to the church for years. But the first step is for you to be comfortable when it is un-comfortable.

Nothing is more awkward than this
